Devil tail volume
This might not work but one way I was thinking we could give the tail volume in teh middle is to duplicate the geometry several times and let it render in layers. By duplicating with the incoming connections they move with the original skinning. But I'm not sure of the best technique to scale them. If I do it by scaling the geometry directly the lower image is what it looks like when it's moved. I've tried scaling groups above them and scaling the overall vertices. Neither seem to get the desired results. I'm thinking that it's just a case of adjusting the deformation order so that the scale occurs before the skinning but I'm not sure how to make something that I can change the order on. Any ideas?
